Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your best chance to make a positive impact on buyers before they step foot into your home. The good and bad features that jump out at buyers create their initial perception of your house and how you perform house's regular maintenance.
Acknowledging this assists us in deciding what actions we can take to draw buyers from the street and into your house. If your house isn't attractive on the outside with refreshed paint and bright garden plants it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Could a buyer picture themselves enjoying game night in your living space, unwinding in your reading nook or getting work done in your home office? We want your house to welcome buyers and offer them a sense of comfort. I'll help you do this by recommending small improvements that enhance the features of your home.
I'll help you put out of sight anything that gives the look of clutter. Table and counter tops should be free and clear. Brick-a-brack, souvenirs, family photos, and play time artwork should get moved out of sight. We need to "generalize" the place so buyers can perceive it as their new house.
I know exactly what a room's best features are and how to highlight them. I'll note the pieces of furniture that should be rearranged, rooms that need new paint, carpet needing to get changed, fixtures that need polishing, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively affect the sale.
With me by your side, you'll know that your house is neutral and that it's inviting, steering clear of "loud" or "can't-work-with" shades on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can consider renting furniture. You want your house to look inviting as opposed to barren.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when you're ready to open your home up to buyers, because all of the changes come together to set the stage for what buyers can envision when they consider buying your house. Shadows are a mood changer and we'll draw back curtains, and add lighting where needed to show off your property. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and ensure a pleasing fragrance circulates room-to-room. We'll add cozy-looking bedspreads, and throw pillows on your loveseat and bed. We want buyers to feel like your current home is their future home. |
